45th
Reunion Committee meeting minutes – May 20,
2007
The Catonsville Senior High Class of 1964
Reunion Committee met at Rick Webb’s house in Parkton to continue to
work on the plans for the 45th reunion. In
attendance were Class President Richards Steinbock,
Paulette Hammond, Cathy
Johnson, Ed
Fishel, Dennis Colson, Jim Wick, and Rick Webb.
The Committee has settled on the weekend of
September 25, 2009 as the best choice for availability, good
weather, and avoiding various holidays. Again, the Committee
has concluded that a “tiered “ weekend of events would provide the
maximum opportunity for participation taking into consideration
family budgets and schedules. It would begin (1) with a no-charge
tour of the high school at 10am til Noon. (2) A day-trip to
St. Michaels on a touring bus or via personal cars would be offered
concluding with a 6pm-10pm crab feast in a local eatery there.
For those who are returning to the high school, the bus would leave
at 10pm and be back before midnight. (3) For those who want a
longer weekend, an “overnight” option would be available in St.
Michaels and a brunch would be offered. St. Michaels is a
short trip to Ocean City for those who want to spend time at
the ocean.
Proposed
schedule:
* 10:00 A.M.
- Meet at the High School for a tour with current students
* Noon - Bus leave for St. Michaels. This would be a
touring bus with refreshments aboard.
Of course personal travel as an alternative. In fact one
classmate indicated they might
consider taking a boat and would consider arranging for others if
interested.
* 2:00 P.M. - Arrival at a destination yet to be determined
* 2:00 - 6:00 - Shopping, golf (real and mini
would be arranged)
* 6:00 - 10:00 - Crab feast, hospitality
* 10:00 P.M. - Bus returns to CHS

Dennis reports that we have approximately
$1,700 in the class account. Representatives from the adjacent
classes of ’63 and ’65 reunion committees have expressed interest in
participating with our reunion activities and Rick will be pursuing
this. The next meeting will be held in Annapolis at Steiny’s on Sunday October 28th
THIS YEAR in Cape St. Claire. Directions to be provided later.
As always, the committee invited participation by all interested
classmates and welcomes their suggestions.
