Class of ’64 Reunion Committee

Minutes – October 5, 2008

 The Catonsville Senior High School Class of 1964 Reunion Committee met on Sunday October 5, 2008 at Jenning’s Cafe.  Those in attendance were Class President Richards Steinbock, Paulette Geisenkotter Hammon, Ed Fishel, Jim Wick, Gale Wachter, Martha Niles (’65), Nancy Scheneman (’65)  and Rick Webb.  The decision had been made to invite the classes of ’63 and ’65 to participate and Martha and Nancy will carry the information back to the appropriate classmates for the Class of ’65.

 We confirmed the overall plans for our 45th Reunion Event:

Friday night September 25th

·         Candlelight Lodge, on the patio from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

·         Finger food buffet and cash bar

·         Music

Saturday September 26th

·         CHS tour from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

·         Picnic at the Hilton Area, Patapsco State Park from Noon until Close (10 p.m.)

·         Food from 4:00 to 5:30, beer wine, soda all day

·         Music with a DJ from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

·         Sports events, trivia, 50/50, dancing, etc.

Sunday September 27th

·           Sunday on your own.

 Specific assignments are as follows:

            Friday             Candlelight Lodge – Paulette

            Saturday morning High School Tour  – Paulette

            Saturday Picnic – Noon to Close (10 p.m.) Hilton Area Patapsco Valley State Park

                        Permits – Jim

                        Picnic Food – to get estimated costs

Andy Nelson Barbecue Catering – Rick

                                     Poulet Gourmet Catering – Ed

                        Music – Dennis

                        Athletic Equipment  – Ed & Jim

                        50 / 50 – Rick   proceeds either to support this year or 50th

                        Trivia Contest – Committee

                        Prizes – Ed

                        Name Tags – Steiny

                        Commemorative Book – Steiny

                        Classmate Search – Jim

                                   

Next meeting needs:

·          Everyone with costs involved needs to come with realistic estimates

·         Tickets prices will be developed

·         Invitations will be send out shortly after this meeting by Steiny

·         Need confirmation of participation by Classes of ’63 and ‘65

·         Confirmation that Hilton has pavilion that can handle event

Next meeting is scheduled for Sunday January 25, 2009 4:00 p.m. at Jennings Cafι.  Let Rick know if you will be attending in order to reserve table(s).
